A Message from the Animal Control Officer.....
Hello and Thank you for stopping by! As the Animal Contol Officer for the City of Ward my goal is to help the citizens be responsible animal owners; to place adoptable animals into responsible, loving homes; to return lost pets to their owners and to reduce the number of animals that must be humanely euthanized each year. I believe we all make a difference in the lives or our community's animals. For the safety, health and welfare of the citizens and animals of the City of Ward I believe I hold a responsibility to enforce animal related laws. I must also daily provide a safe environment for unwanted, stray and impounded animals. I will continually to strive to find loving homes for each one of these that I am blessed to care for. As the Animal Control Officer for the city, I am ready to listen to each of you and I am open to your suggestions. I realize it is not possible to save every animal due to the over pet population but, my belief is we must never stop striving, we should never fail to care and we must always remember; together we are a part of the humane solution.
